We think we have it bad now, but how would you like to be working 100 hours a week? And the only escape from your drudgery and reality is to voluntarily go to jail? Take a look at this idea here...

And the "prisoners" pay good money to stay there!omg.gif

I like this quote, too, from the article...

"After a stay in the prison, people say, 'This is not a prison, the real prison is where we return to!' "

Prison is only physical. Kroger's is a cancer of the soul, destroying a humans mind, then it destroys the body. You are thrown into a pile and they grab the next meat.

Honestly. I've thought about prison over krogers, really thought, about 5-6 times.  But I quit and got out. I'm still unironically feeling guilty as **** for the guys who are still there. But if anyone had my option they would of took it.

I don't get it. How is this any different from just taking a day off and renting a hotel room? That's what those "prisons" basically are. A fancy hotel room with "bars" and "rules."

It really depends on the store and your job position on if you feel like it's a prison or not. A friend of mine was in a really bad state and went back to another store and took the clicklist supervisor position and she LOVES it. Working a ton of hours but she said it's worth it to be away from the store we were in. She told me i'll be happier once i'm out of there too. lol
