...why do you want to work there?  Why do you stick around?

The best market pressure you can place on Kroger is to work somewhere else and push them out of the marketplace.

For you guys:

Are the women good looking?

Do they look like Tami-Lynn?

For you women:

Are the toilets suitable for pinching one off?

Do you have time to talk?

Half of the people I work with have banks that deposit early. Like mid-afternoon on Wednesday. Including myself. It's got to be connected to why no one can access express HR right now.

I stay because I been there 25 years and I need a job. I know Kroger is not perfect what company is perfect? I also get to take off whenever I need to and get most days off that I want during the week and I am off most Sundays that is why I stay.

But some companies are more perfect than others, correct?

Are there other comparable jobs near you?

No and No. This coming April will be 25 years exactly. If something comes up after then I will leave Kroger.

I'd say most Kroger employees are conspicuously unattractive.  I suspect low pay, high stress, and high substance abuse could be to blame.

Except for the pharmacy.  Most pharmacy employees are conspicuously attractive.  Not sure what that's about.

I'm trying to get out.  The scheduling has made it incredibly difficult to go to school.

This! On an attractiveness scale 1 to 10 Store average is 3 out of 10, pharmacy 7 out of 10, lol.

That's why I kept the job. Want to go to school. Have yet to do that. When I worked at one store at front end, I remember a customer making a remark about the staff being attractive. When I was transferred to another store there were attractive young males on the front end. But the ugly people ran all the attractive people off, so there is only one cute guy in the whole store.
