Weekly sales for Dairy department? In a 500k store?

So I work dairy and have been wanting to know much we do in a week,  roughly. I always ask but management never gets back to me on it. And because we are technically apart of Grocery, they never include us on the huddle sheets. As I said, I know the store does just about 500k. Any other dairy ppl here in similar volume stores that would know? Thanks.

Our store is similar to yours in sales....we average anywhere from $2-$3 a week I believe.  Higher if it's a holiday or there are big sales in the store.  There are only 2 of us in dairy.

Many dairy items are priced only barely above overhead cost, to compete with Walmart and others in the region.  If it weren't for that we would be doing better on sales because we sell more actual number of product than many other departments.

Im pretty sure your dairy would do somewhere around 30-50k a week. If I remember, in a 750k store, ours did about 70. I could be completely mixed up, though.

Figure 10% of total sales without pharmacy or fuel.

Have your dairy manager pull it up. He/she can access through Citrix. You can look at daily sells by recap department (grocery) or sub-departments (dairy, reg. groc, frozen, etc). It even breaks produce and meat down into sub catalogs.

I just saw the break down for our district.

Dairy is anywhere from 3%(low volume store) to 7%(high volume store) of store sales less fuel.
