If the roads are slick and the snow is to the point where you can't get out then call in at least two hours before your shift starts. No need to risk life and limb. 

Sometimes an employee at my store will offer to drive and pick somebody up if they're too scared to drive So be prepared for that, if you're not wanting to work for other reasons and just want to use the weather as your excuse.
