So I work the U Scan and it's ok, I mean it's better than being stuck immobile on a register all day I guess. But I spend my whole shift fielding stupid questions from stupid customers. Like 'this machine isn't taking my money, what am I doing wrong?' and 'I was supposed to get .75 cents in change, I didn't get it, why not?' Had one fat guy in a electric cart that had stopped working claiming he had chest pain and wanted me to just drop everything I was doing and call somebody for him. Just stupid stuff. Anyone else deal with this crap??
Yeah. You are expected to drop whatever you are doing to help the guy that had chest pains. EVEN IF you are on break or lunch. That guy could have been having a heart attack.
As for the sco customers ...im not so sure about them. Sco is easy to use and it even shows you where to put the cash in at.
