Must be a new management technique that has been rolled out.
Good manager, bad manager routine to keep the little people in line.
All kidding aside, A manager has a job to do and budgets/expectations to meet. Yes, they need to be tough if people want to be lazy and slack off. Crazy tough if work is not getting done. Managers and Co managers can be fired on the spot if the sales numbers/Osat and other corporate expectations are not good.
If everyone would come in and do their jobs correctly, most co managers would not need to be tough. They can actually be pleasant people.
What is happening-co manager that has a slew of complaints against them (at least 10 filed with the union) and Kroger hasn't done a damm thing. I am concerned for one of our special needs co workers that is continually harassed by this individual.
