I dont appreciate those security announcements over the audio system. They sound so fake! Security code B section 1 and 2 in a nice happy tone. It just makes me feel like a thief so I steal a lot more now
There was an obnoxious openly gay cashier with a high pitched voice that worked at our store years ago. He would say random words on the intercom and then laugh loudly. I feel tempted to page "SECURITY! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA" after those play. I also do not understand the logic of "Security, pick up line 104" which to us workers means that someone is calling them from outside the store.
P.S. One of his last pages before he was fired for an unrelated incident (long story, involved him scanning his own Kroger card when ringing up others' groceries so he could get all the fuel points) went like this "TO THE OWNER OF THE GREY HONDA CIVIC, ALL HELL'S GONNA BREAK LOOSE! BWAHAHAHAHAAA!"
