The customer is NOT always right!  Quotes our training video.  We use professional interaction with the customer to uphold moral integrity and to try and stop theft.  Stop being an ass hole to the employees who give you food on your plates.  Stop living in your parents basement and get a ****en job.

Krogers employees are like kids, they will learn how to treat people based on how management treats them.

Hope you understand.

"The customer is always right" ship sailed a long time ago. Hey dumb customers, take your **** out of the basket so I can ring it up instead of just putting it on the belt and looking at me like a dumb ****.

I make your paycheck a reality too.  I don't care what job you have.  Every job can be connected to the sale of goods and services to the general public.

You get what you pay for.  Kroger is the fourth worst paying corporation in the US.  You're lucky to get the time of day from an associate.

I'm too busy drinking myself to death to value you.

The only customers we value are those that treat us with respect and are nice to us. If you act high and mighty, then you will be treated like an overload of plasma in the warp core that will soon be dumped out.

Don't let Mega get you worked up. If it weren't for people like us, Mega and his merry band of ASSociates wouldn't have a job. When he's unemployed he'll look back and realize we were right. And when he manages to find another job, maybe he'll keep his trap shut and do his job like he's supposed to.

I feel that this is probably a "troll" post made for shock value. In case it is not, I would like to make some things clear which you may not have been aware of OP.
First and most blatant, the "customer is always right" (CAR) philosophy has in fact died out. This is due to a number of factors, most obvious is that if that was true, no one would ever have to pay full price for anything because they would claim it is a cheaper price and following the CAR idea a company would have to accept it. Customers don't generally know (or wouldn't want to follow) the company policies, regulations, or other legal/ business requirements that make a company capable of working. These include pricing, labor laws, cost of running a store (Water, rent, electricity, etc.), among many other issues. Therefore, the CAR ideology has been abandoned in place of (at least in Kroger)a "Customer First" idea. The point is adopting a customer-centric idea which still allows a company to say "No."
Second, Kroger employees are not "Plebs" and should not be looked down on. If you rely on a service to make your life easier, you should not look down on them. People don't choose to stay for this company because they want to, quite the contrary many of them are locked in because they either make high enough that no where else will pay comparable between wages and benefits (This applies almost exclusively to the people who have been there 10+ years), they for one reason or another can't find a job elsewhere, or it's just in general not worth finding somewhere else when you are in a job where you know all the rules, responsibilities (and in some cases what you can get away with).
Most ridiculously, this idea that a customer can get an employee fired. the average employee will probably come into contact with dozens to over 100 people in a single day. Some of those people are bound to be unhappy with something, and of those some will report it. The idea that someone can or could be fired based on a single customer saying bad things about an employee is ridiculous, and at least here the process takes so much effort that people generally only get fired during either their probationary period, or because of something really extreme/ excessive (even then it's hit or miss). For example, anecdotally, I had a customer get angry with me because I offered to scan their card. They had instead preferred to reach over the counter and scan it rather than use the device specifically designed to scan it on their side, and they were unhappy that that happened. Another person got mad and complained because I asked on of the CC's to bounce to other checkstands to help bag for more than one lane instead of just standing there. After each of these, I didn't get fired. That's because managers know who the "problem" people are - who will be late, who slacks off a little, etc. - and who they can rely on. The only reasons I have seen people actually get fired were because they were stealing, ditching the job, and using excessive coupons. Not once have I even heard of a write up because a customer complained.

Without Kroger employees, you could not live the life of ease that you do. We don't do tips, and we would not shut our light off to help you take your groceries to your car. Generally, if a lane is open we can't afford for it to be closed and we will find someone who is in a position to help.
Don't treat people like they don't deserve a decent living. Like everyone else We are just human beings trying to make the most of our short time atop this tiny blue dot.

I did also forget to mention, respect is earned not given. If you want to be treated well, you should start by being a respectable person. No one will value you just because you say so. No one will believe something because you said to.
