I've been removing all the obvious troll questions and "best dept to work in" threads that have been created over the past month or two as spam, seeing as they would create multiple threads on the same topic and even tried to "recruit members to help me spam this board". Should I try and limit it to 1 topic per page or stop removing redundant posts altogether?
Would you rather I stop and just focus on the auto spambot posts "here to sell you X"/ "please visit X" post spam?
Note: I do not remove topics because I "don't like them" or based on the content being defamatory or gross. The first post tends to stay; it's the secondary posts that I typically remove. I've been here long enough to know the difference in an obvious troll post from a normal question.

Honestly, limit it please. I dont want to visit this forum just to see a bunch of troll threads every day, people are also seemingly unwilling to ignore them and seemingly just egg them on.

Sorry, but I disagree. I've myself posted a couple things that you (or whoever) took down, and when I aske why you thought I was a troll. But what ever. I also do think the best internet journalism works best if left unrestricted and censored. Isn't that part of why people flocked to the internet in the first place? When you have sole power to choose what stays and what goes, you can justify your acrions all you want----but that still makes you a bullying tyrant at worst, and kind of a coward at best. But do what ever you want. You have that power.

Just keep doing what you've been doing. Remove the spam and duplicate threads. Remove the obvious troll threads. We all know what they are.

I think everyone knows which posts are just someone bored and seeking attention, and should be ignored. Delete any post that refers to illegal activity. The person(s), that find humor in bathroom antics, or having sex at work, clearly have more serious issues but you cannot force intelligence or normal behavior.

Deleting disgusting posts by the mod is good. And agreed, best thing other members can do is not reply to troll posts.
