I have been with Kroger for about 2 years. I USED to have a set availability that they said they had no problem adhering to. Well, it turns out they switched it on me, so I changed it back. They switched it again and I changed it back. They did it yet again, so I just decided to work my availability rather than keep changing it back. Now, they're saying that I'm leaving "too early" and coming in "late." How the h*ll can I be in the wrong for working only my availability which they themselves, said it was not a problem whatsoever. I tried talking to them over and over and it went nowhere. I tried contacting the union and they're looking into this. (Nothing heard so far). So do I continue working my availability? And are they not supposed to ask first before changing your availability on you?
Availability is something that is subject to approval and can be denied or revoked by management (it may vary by contract). If your availability was previously approved talk to your dept mgr as to why your are being scheduled outside of your availability.
