Seriously, do yourself a favor and find a better job not working with the public. If you're an employee of any store including Kroger, customers will view and treat you like public property and think they can do whatever they want, including go up to you and randomly touch you while you're working. An old lady did that to me yesterday and I was very uncomfortable, but apperently customers find that an acceptable thing to do while I view it as being very rude and inappropriate. Seriously I want to find another job asap now so I never have to deal with that again. Im not a doll, seriously. Has this every happened to anyone else here?
yeah, actually. I recently had some customer walk towards me, letting out some kind of joyous scream like as if he won a $500 bet with his football buddies. I thought he was just heading for the door and that's it. But he unexpectedly makes a turn towards me and reaches out to grab my stomach. He doesn't actually touch me, cause I reacted quickly, but still. What the **** was that. He bolted out the door quickly.

We should all consider becoming Kroger competitors. Opportunities to do it right are coming along and the next recession will actually help! People need to eat, they just don't need to buy it from psychos.
we've got a regular who likes to touch as well. We'll text each other when we see him come in to warn the others. If you don't engage him, he'll usually leave you alone, but boy if you make eye contact or speak, it's on. He comes closer and isn't satisfied until he's touched you, even if it's a little tap on the shoulder
