Get ready. This is what I see coming to retail in general, and Kroger in particular(based on some solid researched evidence and retail trade journals) : Slashing long term employees hours to nothing, retaining probably 10-20% of that crew to perpetually train an ever growing and revolving door of new temp/part time hirees, (thereby elliminating completely health benefits for employees), and breaking the UFC's hold with that company completely. These things you guys are seeing with cut hours are just going to ramp up.
