An S.I.R. significant incident reminder is just letting you know to be more careful or it can also be something good you've done.but it can be done without you being there all they have to do is let you know what it's for and coach you or Pat ya on the back

Has anyone ever gotten an SIR for anything good? I know you "can" but have you?

Employees forget to clock out all the time, practically every day at least someone is in a hurry and forgets.  At our store, a note is posted near the time clocks with a list of employees who need minor adjustments made to the official log (for example they forgot to clock in shift, or out shift, or a lunch punch (in or out) is missing.    This is a nothing burger.   You shouldn't be getting an SIR.   (Unless there are other circumstances not explained in your post.)  Maybe someone is just "messing" with you.

Significant Incident Reminder.   It just means that "Something" happened and you are being notified that  management considered  it of enough importance to issue a paper.   In my own opinion (which means nothing) it is a big Bunch of Nothing anyhow.

It may be that SIRs are a "bigger thing" in some stores or divisions than others.  I haven't heard anything about them since around 2015 at my store. But that might be just because I haven't had one myself, or don't know of any other coworkers in the departments I am most familiar with who have either.

I have NEVER heard of a Sir being a good thing. Sirs at our store are ALMOST ALWAYS in response to a violation depending on its severity. For example, you may receive a Sir for missing a 2-3 sweeps and a customer/employee falls and it was discovered that you were supposed to be on sweeps for that time slot. That is why when I am covering for a cc and I am on sweeps, I ALWAYS ignore calls to sack up front. P*sees FE off, but oh, well.
