i was asked to pick up hours in file. was handed a box of tags and told to put them up. that was easy enough. the next day was told that I didn't do tear aways. no one explained what that was. what are they and what should i have done?

I don't know exactly what tear aways are.
I think they are like after a mega event is over. There are price tags with regular price, then a yellow price with card and then a blue tag with even a better price with card attached. Sometimes, you tear the blue part off and other times you tear the yellow part off. There should be a date of when the price expires on the blue and yellow tag.
more likely tear the old old sales tags off.... because what the hell else do you tear away at a grocery store in the position that you were given...... derp
