Too good to be true. Beware.

You and everyone in your household are invited to call 800-547-1442.  A well-being assistant not connected to your insurance can provide "free" and "confidential" referrals, tips, resources and such if you have mental health or other issues that can be exploited by whoever.  Maybe call that number using a phone borrowed from someone you hate or use a pay phone to check it out.  See what you think.  Smith, Fry, Ralphs and Food For Less have different EAP (?) provider through Taft Hartley Fund so you are also invited to ask HR about this and open a friendly conversation.

If you have insurance or there are any public health resources available you can also use them.  Good luck!

A well-being assistant?  What does that even mean?  By the way, it's by whomever.

I'll guess and say they want your euid or name, for no particular reason at all. Definitely not to keep track of employees deemed "unstable" or "undesirable".

Trust Kroger, have they ever steered you wrong?
