Do Associate Register Receipt Surveys Count?

The company knows from our card numbers that we are employees; do our responses count toward OSAT scores?  Do associate comments ever show up on the OSAT-tracker documents?

I think they are put in a separate pool as Employee feedback. I've never seen an employee's survey on the sheet.

I've never seen my own show up.

It's too bad since we could likely exert some influence in stores by lowering OSATs unless some issues were addressed.

Thanks for the reply.

Same. I never see my surveys on the wall at work.

No. I tried being honest a few times and my comments were never published.

What you do is use a random name and some random email not your own. That's what I've done before and my surveys showed up.

How do you "use a random name"?  (You mean pick some discarded receipts out of the trash that a  customer threw away, and pretend to be them? )

The surveys can only be filled out by having a sales receipt.....and only the ones that are marked "TELL US HOW WE ARE DOING" ......... they always have a long code number, time, store location, etc  and you have to use your debit or credit card to get one of those notices at the bottom of your receipt (if I'm not mistaken).

Has anyone noticed that if you pay for your purchases with cash,  the "TELL US HOW WE ARE DOING" notice will never appear on the sales receipt, and so you will not be able to fill out a survey??

Btw I have filled out multiple surveys over the last several years, and have NEVER Seen one of my comments appear in the survey comment sheets that were printed out for us to read in the breakroom.

When I mentioned this to a couple other employees at my store, they claimed that their comments HAD appeared in the results.  I think they were mistaken, or just plain lying.

Simple. Say you have a reciept for a purchase. Rather than use your real name substitute a name. That's what I did. And I paid with cash a few times and it said Tell Us How We Did/are doing at the bottom. Why make the surveys only exclusive to debit/ credit card holders?

They probably used a random name. But their comment was posted.
And also perhaps it's the Kroger discount card the customer used that they have to use. Either way surveys should be available to everyone to do. Regardless if you have a debit/credit card or a Kroger card or not.

Sorry, I meant a Kroger card. (Duh!)  I  meant that if I did not use my Kroger card (which identifies me as an employee) I never get a receipt that indicated I could leave survey comments.

I'm not sure if we are "on the same page" because when I fill out the survey online, it never says anything about my name......but a notice does come up that I am recognized as an employee, and therefore cannot be entered into the sweepstakes. Anyway the long number (long string of digits) on the receipt identifies the date/time/store/cashier, along with my Kroger card number .

It's not hard to reprint and steal receipts with survey offers.  I've stolen, reprinted, passed out, and taken dozens in attempts to meet goals with or without the requests of management.

There's been jaw dropping amounts of misconduct in attempts to obtain bonuses, let me tell you.

The problem is authentication.  If you can't match a specific shopping experience to the corresponding shopper's card, it doesn't count.  That's basic information security.

You'd have to have maintain a non-employee card and then complete the survey.  But then it's just one, and it doesn't even matter anymore.

Things have gotten ...difficult lately.  Quevision is running at half.  Meal kits were a ****ing bust.  10 year employees are getting 20 hour weeks.   Quevision graphs are downright retarded or worse.  We have individual departmental employees being called up for cashier service.  For decades.

For many customers, it would be faster just to throw everything down on the floor, drive to the Walmart one mile south, and reshop.  And many customer do.

The real problem isn't that Walmart isn't faster or one mile south (it is), but that that it pays better and gives better hours.

It's a true struggle not to drink on the clock.

Thank you for shopping with us; have a great evening!

You'd have to have maintain a non-employee card and then complete the survey.

Right: grab an alternate card, one not associated with you as an associate.  (Use it on alcohol, piddly stuff, markdowns, things you don't need your net 10% discount.)  Get the survey; light 'em up.

. . . it's just one, and it doesn't even matter anymore.

One does matter -- especially if your message is focused and consistent.  Management is all about the OSATs.

Beyond that, involve your coworkers.  Even three people saying the same thing--turn down the radio, or whatever--will sound like the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.
