In trouble?

I have scheduled a doctor's appointment (for ear cleaning) July 2nd months in advance prior to my vacation later in July. Now my question is this... if they schedule me despite my appointment will I still be in trouble if I bring a note when I do a No-Call no-show? (I will only do a No-Call no-show if they schedule me for that day). So the doctor's note should override any write up they try and give me correct?

If they schedule you that day, just tell them you won't be there.  If they don't change the schedule, then call them on the day you're suppose to work and tell them you're not coming in.  That way you won't be counted as a no call no show.  You'll just be a no show.  Just show them the doctor's note if they ask for it and if they give you any hassle, sick the union on them.

You need to call in, if you are scheduled. The note won't over ride a no call no show.

It will if it was an emergency.  Of course in the OP's case, they already know he asked off.

By law youre allowed to go to doctor appointments. just provide a dr note or the bill stating you went. Depending on which one youre comfortable giving. If you did tell them then youll just be written up for a missed no show shift. You get three no show shifts before they write you up. not sure how long between lengths.

Maybe if it was for ass cleaning theyd let it slide but ear cleaning really isnt a priority. expect a CR
