So does Kroger care if some idiot takes an electric cart way outside the store property

If they learn about an electric cart that is off property, do they actually send someone out to get it? Or do they not give a ****? lol

Here's what I don't get, the regular customer carts have those wheels that lockup when you get close to the store's property boundaries. But these electric carts don't?

Doesnt make sense. But with the wheels locking themselves.up on a regular shopping cart, customers discovered that if you tilt the cart in the opposite direction of the wheel lock, you can move the cart beyond the boundaries.

If we put a kill switch on the electric motor cart customers will still find a way to drive the cart past the boundaries. Dont ask how they will, but they'll figure it out. Customers may act a FOOL and stupid, but they are rather smart.

Last summer we had a clown take an electric cart all the way off our store property to a MARTA (bus) stop.

And yes, the customer was black.

Well, I found out my answer to this one. Nope, Kroger does not care. The carts cost $2000 each, but once they leave the lot, and some idiot takes it downtown or something, Kroger isn't investing in the resources to bring it back.

Of course. They need the extra finances to give themselves UNNECESSARY bonuses from the work WE do.

It's technically theft if they leave the property line. Not much you can do about it but let them. They're like $5,000 so if they know the customer they'll be taken to court for theft.
