How Do I know if I am Marked Non-Rehireable with Kroger?

I'll keep this short and sweet. About three years ago I worked for Kroger for about 4 months. My mother got sick, so I put in a two weeks but I could not fulfill those two weeks. I did not show up during that second week because I was stressed and impulsive and made a mistake. But my priorities were different.

Now, three years later after graduating college I have been accepted into Kroger's Management Trainee Program. I have received a job offer etc. However, I am worried that when they go to input my information into their system I will be flagged as non-rehireable. I was under the impression that I had left in good enough terms, until I started reading some of these threads.

I anticipate a lot of hate from this, I get it. I'm just not sure what to do or who to ask.

thank you

I would not worry about it.  Whoever offered you the job should have already seen the flag if there was one.

You would need to piss the store manager off enough to get flagged as non rehireable.  I doubt people get flagged unless they steal or are violent.

I don't think you would have been accepted if you were on the no rehire list.

Good luck with the new job.

Ah! Glad I stopped by, I'll help you with this one, buddy!

It's actually quite simple: ---well. Maybe not 'simple', but not TOO complicated, or, at least I'll do my best to make it that way. So. Ready?

On the first day of every alternating quarter, just between profit report exchanges and regional updates distributed throughout three of the regions during ONE lunar cycle, then all four regions during alternating lunar cycles co inciding with the winter solstice one year---then the summer equinox 2.5 years after that---but NOT to be confused with leap year, that's a common mistake---your store manager will receive reports of all former employees who have worked in his/her store within between the last 3 months and 10 years. These reports are ear marked by name in alphabetical order and tabulated under the apothecary mathematical correction system. There in your manager will determine, by algarythms, which infraction a former employee least parallels with all those of others in the first region of the above described lunar cycle---but never the other five. Then, you'll either get a call back. Or you won't.

Hope this helps, buddy!

Gary
