Vacation time not approved --AGAIN
Permalink

This makes four times in two years. Doesn't matter who I go to, it's the same thing, 'get with HR about it' well HR doesn't handle tthese things the co managers do. This time I'm gonna prolly just go any way and see what happens. Enough is enough, You don't put your foot down you keep getting dicked.

What may be happening is someone with more seniority may be bumping you off your vacation

What you can do:  nothing. Nothing at all. or if you choose to do so despite getting bumped You can take your vacation anyways if you choose, just be sure you have another job lined up because vacation checks only stretch so far and you cannot and will not collect unemployment if Kroger suspends you indefinately. That is the worse case scenario.

What you should do: I would talk to management and HR and see how it works out. Maybe it is an error on their end. It happened to me and EVEN THOUGH it was an error, I STILL caught hELL for taking my vacation anyways. That is why I always talk to management when something seems "off" about my vacation days...(was scheduled to work 2 days and that was NOT an error, but I got 4 paid days to make up for it.

RIGHT??? That's why it's more fun to troll this way. It's like a serial killer leaving his victim's jewlery in public bathrooms so he can watch living women make off with it, LOL (that really happened, btw: The Green River Killer in Seattle used to do that in the truck manufacturing job he worked at) ~
