First off let me start by saying that I know I'm gonna get troll comments on this post. I don't care. But yes this did actually happen, and I'm not sure what to do about it.
So I'm a young college girl, and I work part time in the meat department. Of course, the meat department is widely a male department, but that's never bugged me because my coworkers are wonderful. We're all very close and hang out in our free time and help each other with stuff. I went to high school with some of the younger guys that work back there. We joke around (perhaps maybe too much) about stuff that maybe isn't the most work place appropriate like our personal lives and relationships and our bodies. But every work place does that, and I've never cared. Anyways, I forgot my lunch box in the back hallway a couple of days ago, so I stopped by after I got out of class to grab it. I was off, so I was wearing decently short shorts and a tight shirt because I was off and who cares what I wear, right? My department head was there and the assistant department head too. I waved to my department head (he's a sweet old man) and yelled at my assistant department head that I was going to get my lunch box. The assistant department head is in his early 30's and we're decent friends like everyone else in the department. I grabbed my lunch box and he walked in the back hallway and started joking around about something. I don't really remember what, but that doesn't matter. After that he looked at me and said something along the lines of "Dang girl, you have big boobs." I was taken aback. I mean I do. I'm very aware that I do cus, ya know, they're kind of attached to my chest. I just kinda said yeah and we talked for another second and then I left. A few minutes later he stopped me while he was stocking frozen and said something along the lines of "Hey don't take that the wrong way. You look really cute." Again, I was uncomfortable. I kind of agreed and then left. So I don't really know what to do. I haven't seen him since cus a lot of times I work nights and he works mornings. I don't want to report him because he's a really good boss, and honestly, if one of the guys my age said something like that I wouldn't have really cared. Also I was off the clock, so I don't know if that means anything. I don't think he was trying to be creepy. He just shouldn't have said that. And I don't really wanna bring it back up when I see him next because that'll just make me more uncomfortable. So I'm at a cross roads. He's quite a bit older than me and that's what's making me uncomfortable. I've had a long history of creepy old men staring at my breasts just as every busty girl probably has. Anyways, any feedback would be appreciated because I don't know what to do.

Jesus H. Christ! Get the **** over yourself! You precious little ****ing snowflake! If it makes you feel any better, your tits will start sagging soon enough, and then no one will be looking at them! You'll be happy then, right?

I wouldnt mind sucking some milk outta those utters. No doubt though the OP is a troll post. hell be laughing his ass off when the white fat knights on this site come to the rescue
I'm a little torn because on one hand maybe that wasn't appropriate for the work place but on the other hand if you guys joke about that type of stuff all the time... and you knowingly went back there wearing a tight shirt...you kind of knew people would look. You shouldn't be able to pick and choose when it's appropriate and when it's not because if you've joked about things before too, who's to say someone wouldn't hear you and be offended too?
I mean I have bigger boobs too but if you don't want people to look, don't show them off... and my work friends and i have definitely joked about inappropriate stuff before too. I know that's an unpopular opinion but i'm just saying.

No, every work place does not do that. You sound like a lot these "Me Too" women that lead men on and then cry rape because you didn't know what you were doing. Cut the crap right now.

Just ignore it this time and if he does it again. Maybe let one of your younger friends know it makes you feel uncomfortable. Maybe they will talk to him.
Everybody notice the responses? You want to work in a Kroger store?
You can try to reason with the people involved, like a guy though cause it is another style of communication from what you may be used to. You can be really careful to act like a "cold bitch", meaning that you have boundaries and act really professional at work at all times. Depending on the laws in your state you could make whatever kind of complaint they allow. Kroger will never forgive or forget and they regard you as a slave who should never snitch. If all else fails you can file a Federal charge and for goodness sake don't work for this company.
Hey there. OP here. You know the forum as really gone to crap when I can't even really get a legitimate response without everyone thinking I'm another troll poster. Thanks for nothing. I'm just never gonna bring the whole situation up again and hope for the best.

Joking-grammar-correcting-trying-to-have-fun-in-what-appears-to-be-a-troll-thread guy here... but come on, your word choice is either obviously trollish or you're just that much of a stereotypical clueless dumb-blonde type.
If this is for really-realz, TRY TALKING TO THE GUY!, telling him it made you uncomfortable. Why is everyone so afraid of confrontation? The response you get from him should tell you what next: either you get a sincere apology and an attempt to move forward as respecting coworkers; or he throws another sleezy remark at you, deserving a fat '**** him' and a report to your HR manager.
