I've never heard of them giving time off for that. Maybe it depends on if you're transferring because of a personal move or because they wanted you to move and transfer to another store as a manager or something. Doubtful they have to give you any time off if it's a personal move. Still doubtful even if it's a move Kroger wanted, although a bit more likely.
When I moved states and changed divisions I got about a month off. Not because I wanted it but because it took that long for the paperwork to get shuffled around.
