I have been working for the past two summers at a local Kroger where I am from (not called that, but owned by Kroger). Because I take a leave for school, they have kept me a combo clerk because it is easier for both of us to come and go when I am in a position that is easily replaceable. I didn't mind for a while because I get the shifts I want (32-40 hours, most of them 5a-2p which is a shift I enjoy). However, as of the last couple paychecks, they have not given me my combo pay. Now if I was truly a "combo" I wouldn't mind as much, but I am on the register for at least 5 hours (usually 6/7) each shift and have been being treated like a cashier when really I am only supposed to open up for breaks/lunches/rushes. I don't want to get my good hours taken away so I am unsure to report as I will be leaving back to school in September.
