So when I shop there are usually some items I change my mind on and I put them on the shelves. And how I mean by that is I had this milk I thought I needed but didn't so I was right at the freezer section and I placed it in there. I mean it will be cold still... I had some fruit I didn't want anymore so I placed them in a bakery table it was close enough to produce. I had some half gallon kroger ice creams I no longer wanted and I placed those in the middle cooler where some meat was sitting in. Some up to no good employee looked at me like really? And I said what's the problem it's cool in there the ice cream will be fine! She then felt stupid and continued pretending to stock the shelf. Lots of customers do this when their pressed for time and can't put it back where it goes. But that's what these employee's are for! It's their job to inspect these shelves through out the day keeping it clean and items in the correct spots. Employees at kroger are just so lazy!! You'd think getting 15 bucks a hour these people would put some effort in their job!! its sickening!!
A lot of times people put perishable items like milk and meat on shelves with other products that dont need refrigeration. I might suggest bringing them up front to the checkout instead and giving them to the cashier that is ringing you up and they will have someone take it back. You just cant guarantee someone will find it on some random shelf you decided to place it on in time so it wont spoil. If they find it hours later it has to be thrown out and so its a waste of food. I know you may not care about food being wasted but a lot of people do.
Employees dont just spend all day walking around the store looking for items that have been set in the wrong place, these people have a lot of work to do. They need to stock shelves, order more items, clean and make sure their department is neat and serve customers and help customers find things in the store and whatever else their manager needs them to do. Some employees are stuck in certain places like cashiers and cant constantly look for and run back these items. Customers just dont understand all that goes into working in a grocery store, they dont have to do all the tasks that need to be done, so they dont understand.
I suggest next time finding an employee you can give the items you dont want to and asking them to put them back or taking them up front and telling the cashier and courtesy clerk you dont want them and they need to be put back. Courtesy clerks will run back perishable items to their department so they wont go bad.
God, I hate this attitude. Oh, I made a mess, that's okay, some employee will clean it up.
Our store has a bistro. Let me tell you, it is truly remarkable the mess people leave behind. Like animals they are. It makes me wonder if they're like this in their own homes. I mean, from just a simple lunch, they leave behind the wrappers, they spill drops from their soda, they leave food bits all over the table AND the floor, they leave the nasty used up napkins. When I work the bistro Uscan, I make a note of the customers who don't leave a mess. Let me tell you, there aren't that many.
Now, on the regular Uscan up front, the best (or should I say worst) example that truly demonstrates this horrible attitude - customer walks up to the Uscan, scans their stuff, and when they're done, sure they take their stuff, but they leave behind the cart, right in front of the Uscan. Even while I'm standing there, and they leave knowing I'm there but don't bother saying "oh, excuse me, I don't need this cart." No, you just leave it there. Say I wasn't there (busy doing other **** like helping other customers), that's not even being considerate of the NEXT customer who has to use the that same Uscan. So the next customer has to move the cart that YOU left behind because YOU couldn't be bothered to take it back out into the lobby as you're leaving to your car.
Like the previous poster said, there are no employees who walk down the aisles looking for things that have been left there by customers who couldn't be bothered to give them to an employee. If you leave a bottle of milk in the aisles where the cereal is, the only time it's going to be discovered is when that aisle is going to be restocked. Probably in the morning, next day. And by that time, the milk won't be cold anymore, and guess what. It gets thrown out.

Actually yes there are employees who walk down the aisles. Its called conditioning. And guess what ? When employees see items that down belong it goes in this thing called a reshop cart. But none of you lazy front end jack asses would know that. Youre all doing nothing but talking playing on your phones or picking your noses. typical though

Conditioning happens about twice a day, dumbass. All the stuff the original poster left is going into the trash because they're a selfish, lazy piece of crap.

Wrong again you worthless ASSociate. There are plenty of stores where employees take pride in their work and the aisles are clean and neat. You seem like a lazy front end slave that does nothing but fart and play phone games all day while at work. Get off your ass and phone and tend to your shelves!!

The OP did nothing wrong. Its the job of the workers to make sure the aisles are kept up. Just sounds like entitled workers being lazy and irresponsible. Thats Kroger employees though.
Ive seen employees mostly black roll a reshop cart around and just put some stuff anywhere cause they cant find it. Kroger employees these days are very lazy and sometimes high.

That all depends on whether or not their direct supervisor or managerwants them to.
Y'all sure do troll easily. Maybe viewing the OP as satire would make more sense.

Not sure if this post was made by an employee or a customer-but I will respond as if a customer wrote it. The "big deal" is that we waste a LOT of our time putting these items back-and just leaving it on the shelf (for example-cookies in the chips aisle) wastes even more of our time in having to put it in the proper place. We are sorely understaffed in our store and the time we waste on "go backs" is huge. We never had this issue when I worked at Publix. Customers can help us out by making sure the items in their cart are the ones they want and not getting to the register and saying "oh I changed my mind"-as an adjunct having more items in a cart than money on the card. PLEASE know what is on your card and how much you have before you stuff the bus full of items-many times half of those items have to go back.

A troll makes more money than you which is sad... And no you haven't worked for kroger for 25 years. 2 at the most. We already know you don't know how to be a good worker. Thats why you post here with the rest of the lazy BUMS who can't do all that much for there going to soon be closed store.
Does not sound like a big deal. Sometimes products need to get shrunk if we are not sure but yes we will put everything back where it goes.
it really isnt a big deal at all i agree. Just the workers are so damn lazy to do their job these days they want the customer to do it for them. Honestly its PATHETIC! They're to busy playing fortnite and watching porn on their phones rather then cleaning and tending to their store and their customers. Today I had to shop and I was in a rush so I had to put the 4 bags of northwest cherries in the frozen section along with a loaf of bread and two 2 liters of soda.

Its quite easy you simple minded piss poor dumbass ASSociate. I put things back where ever I want and YOU put it back where is goes. Its just that simple, tard. Your Welcome!
I just put things back if I can get to them. Today I had to cover a courtesy clerk shift and as I was holding a push broom with one hand I dragged a cart with my other and stopped occasionally to grab wrongly placed items off the shelf and into the cart. It keeps everyone off my case because today I wasnt having any of it. Not in a good mood at all.

I thought that was you, V U T! "Piss poor" phrase was your identification card. Try some different vocabulary for a change. Then maybe we will think you might (might) have some "smarts".
Don't seem like such a big deal to me. I mean when i'm there shopping for salads I like to dig througha ll of them. Usually to the back where they keep the fresh ones. Somethimes I have to throw all fo the other ones down onto the bottom shelf but I know the employees will jsut pick them up later and put them back. If a bag of salad has even one piece of yellow or brown lettuce I will not buy it. Just thrown it down on the bottom so they can easily see that its bad.
