if you're offered to go home early, ****ing go home, cause you probably won't get a time off request approved for a long time.
Some of us need as many hours as we can get on our paychecks, so we don't jump at the chance to leave early............ although, I must admit I have mixed feelings on this issue..........it feels good to leave a few minutes or hours earlier than normal!
Never happened at my store. It all depends upon the manager(s) and scheduler(s). If people are asked to go home it's generally because they're either over staffed or some times a regular will decide that they just don't plain like you for what ever reason and end up doing things in retaliation. or if you're doing a poor job and they just don't want you there.
Well, in my case, we had plenty of cashiers that day, and I was in our bistro uscan. Pretty much slow traffic, and lots of standing around doing nothing. Managers thought they could send a couple people home. Very rare, but it happens.
