Don't worry they will be replaced with something far more grating on the ears soon, I'm sure, as that's the Kroger way; anything bad that gets taken away gets brought back in a way that's somehow even worse than before.

Is the give gather go thing only in Boar's Head deli's? Because i haven't heard of that policy in my store yet.
