With all the interest in Kroger with the firings, this would be a good time to contact media about condition of buildings. Might actually be able to get them to come out and look at leaking roofs, etc. Maybe good time to shine light on what is actually going on in stores and how few people they are scheduling. Just a thought.

Emailed a couple of people who listed their contact info on layoff.com and Redditt site. Also looking around to see who else might be interested in a story.

Would be a good time. My last store had dying building syndrome but they were too damn cheap to fix it. Instead they let their employees get ill and sick from it and have permanent damage caused by it.

Fox 5 here in Atlanta did a story on the firings several days ago-but did not mention that most of the layoffs were management positions

WMAZ In Macon I saw something on Facebook. People started blowing the topic up about how awful Kroger's customer service is.

I quit a year ago with text messages from higher ups telling me selling underweight product isn't a big deal and tons of pictures of everything from black mold to bird poop on pork. Give me someone's email.

Pictures of

Bird poop inside the package of pork

Black mold

Saws in meat being held together by cardboard

Coolers not cooling product being sold (46degrees)

Underweight product being sold

Loose live shellfish on top of produce.

Chicken slime leaking all over loose produce(then being sold after I refused to do it)

They Just promoted the guy who cornered me in a bathroom after I put my two weeks in and tried to have a conversation with me, while my genitals were out, where he belittled me and my family. (ending with me swinging around with my twig and berries out, asking if we are gonna fight or ****, he left).

Someone throw me a email, I saved all this so they couldn't come after be when I quit, the entire Streisand effect. I'd be willing to lose a few pictures.

Don't apply.  Sell the stock.  If you have no where else to buy what you need leave the cell phone at home, use a fake name to get the loyalty card and pay cash.  Company is as trustworthy as a guy hanging around in a crack house.

We just had a remodel they put up new walls, signs throughout the store, and carpeting in the upstairs office. Mean while they had to rip out our entire meat market wall cuz it was rotted from leaking ceiling. They didnt want to but once they started trying to make the wall look pretty they found the rot. Meanwhile bunkers keep dying and leaking. Refrigeration units in dairy leak gallons of water on the floors. Concrete is so jacked you cant roll a pallet over it without almost killing yourself. Registers have fatigue mats so old they are coming apart  Deli cant get heat gloves approved cuz its not in the budget. And frozen has an avalanche of frozen ice thick as a pallet.

But hey they replaced some signage so the walls walls look pretty. Right? Thats what counts right? What the precious customers see.
