We were told today that full timers will get a one-time $300 bonus and part timers will get a $150 bonus during the first week of April because of the virus.Something I would never expect from kroger but I certainly welcome it.

It should be $1000 and $500, people risk life working at retail, especially cashiers and pharmacy techs. $300 and $150 is nothing.

Wal-Mart's doing exactly that, meanwhile Kroger was only handing out $25. They had no choice but to follow suit to not come off as the heartless *******s that they are.

$150 won't even cover doctor's visit and meds if you get sick. You are not very smart.

What I'm wondering now is how Kroger decides to define "full time." Is it the actual "full time" status that they've already been trying to put a stop to, or is it simply anyone averaging more than a certain number of hours every week? April 3rd will be an interesting pay check. I'm technically "part time" but I never work less than 40 hours...

There's no way it it's not actual "full time" status.  No way.

I hear Wal-Mart's basing theirs off hours worked, so that's why I wonder. We all know Kroger are cheapskates.

Remember, $300 or $150 is Pre-TAX. While these are all good gestures, in reality $300 or $150 isn't going to really changes anyone's situation.

Sure are a lot of ungrateful associates up in here. You already got a generous $25 dollar credit towards the store. This is big money compared to those tiny pay checks yall get! You should all be thanking Rodney for these generous offers!

Sarcasm? My weekly check is at least $550, after taxes and benefits, under normal circumstances. And I have 10% going into my 401k.
