This is what I've been dreading. Kroger employees are starting to get the corona virus. One in Colorado and another one in Washington. Certainly more to come. I just wonder if Kroger can figure out how to keep the employees safe. Grocery stores are the most dangerous place to be right now.

This is absolute truth. But idiots like megadummy dont know better. But keep on thinking that masks is gonna protect you... Cause it really doesnt work that way.
And what about the social distancing and limiting of the amount of customers in each store...That ALONE Would do a lot to protect people...

Or temporarily switch to curbside service for everyone. No customers inside the store. All store employees would temporarily become order fillers for the curbside service.

Yeah, right. The logistics for that scenario would be absolutely, totally impossible to do. Which employees will break down the trucks? Unpack boxes? Place product on shelves? Compact cardboard? Empty trash? Order new product? Rotate and Condition? Run the cash registers? Pandemonium will ensue. Thanks for the well-meaning idea, but it would never work in reality.
Here's what I'm starting to wonder. I wonder how much of the spread of this covid-19 virus is being caused by healthcare workers, especially at those drive-thru testing sites. They always say if you're not siclk when you go into the hospital, you will be before you come out.
