I was shocked how a "Christian" was so worried about the mote (i.e. gay pride) in the eye of her neighbor that she couldn't see the beam (judgement, bigotry, lack of love/charity) in her own eye...

It's because people have trashed the religion, they don't know how to separate religion and spirituality and forget about the most important tenets and teachings of the religion...Just because humans misunderstand and misappropriate the religion's teachings does make the religion bad...It's human nature to screw this stuff up, which is why you see so much division in the world, even among those who share the same common beliefs...

You're also seeing the best of humanity now during this crisis and a lot of that (maybe not all) also has to do with religious belief in some form...

And the crazy thing is...Despite science's attempts, religion is not going away any time soon...

By the way, would you consider all the rainbows being painted on home windows right now ALSO a sign of that???

If you're REALLY a Christian, you would know that rainbows are NOT bad things...As it says in Genesis 9:12...

"Then God said, I am giving you a sign of MY covenant with you and with all living creatures, for all generations to come. I have placed MY rainbow in the clouds."

In all honesty, it's HIS covenant and HIS rainbow, people...We the dumb ones have chosen to misrepresent it and vilify it...

Yes and the LGBQT changed the meaning of a Rainbow. The Biblical meaning still the same and no one can change it. But as far as having a rainbow flag flying that is a different meaning. Seeing a Rainbow in the sky is the sign from God. Used to when I was growing up being "Gay" meant happy.

Sorry but f-uc-k gay pride. I'm tolerable of a melting pot but this is getting out of control. It's like telling children they can be gay at an early age. While some are born that way others choose it later in life and right now society is cramming this garbage in our faces and telling us it's okay. I'm glad Jesus set me free of this path.
