Tobacco returns

Okay, So I'm suppose to learn how to do tobacco returns. In order to take the next step, LOL! So I need someone to tell the steps in doing tobacco returns. The manager never schedules me on the day we do tobacco returns and my lead won't take the time to show me. I learn quickly. So please just help by telling me what I need to know. Where to go to on the Telzon and when to do them.

What are tobacco returns?  When tobacco expires?  Or, when a customer returns tobacco?

If you haven't been trained, then don't do them.  If you get written up, grieve it.  "You haven't been properly trained."

This is just like the "How do I log in to a cash register" poster.  That is not something you learn online from anonymous people.

It is something you are trained and authorized to do or not.

This must not have come from someone in Georgia - tobacco returns are not allowed here under any circumstances

I do them. Go to drug merchandising on the Barney web and theres links to it. You basically scan them out as out of date and call for return labels and send them back fed ex

Kroger has suspended all returns until further notice. Once cdc or government gives the all clear we'll probably start doing returns. That started in March and will probably go until July if not later. Could be a year before we can start honoring returns. With the exception of quality on perishables (meat, seafood, produce, dairy). Returning age restricted items are no different than a regular item.

hes not talking about customers returning tobacco, hes referring to sending old  tobacco back for credit.

Never return a half smoked package. It's fishy.
