Legally you can refuse your picture to be taken. If he starts posting it on social media you can sue for posting without your consent. I know someone in high school who did that to a teacher of ours who used a picture of her in a slide show without her permission. There's another story going around about a grandmother having to remove her photos from facebook because she does not have the consent from her daughter (who hates her mother) to be able to post them. You have rights use them. It's illegal to film in kroger stores.

While technically that's true, I think there is also a fine line in it...since Kroger is a private company not run by the state or federal government, they can technically do as they please. However for something like, say, "What Would You Do" on ABC, since it would be broadcast later, they'd have to get releases. If it's just for an internal company video, I think Kroger can technically do what they want.

I copyright all my voice and photo material (I am active in pageants.) Many years ago I had some headshots that were stolen off a pageant website that ended up I Europe. I threatened to sue the kid who lifted them. To make a long story short, everything was resolved. My objection is that I would have no control over how my pictures or film that was takne by Kroger would be used *without compensating me for my image.* On my social media I do not ID myself as a Kroger employee (and I do not want people to know I work here.) I am a freelancer in the sports industry doing various writing. There is no mention of Kroger on my FB or Twitter page. For this guy just to start filming me *without asking me if it was OK* is abhorrent.

Here n Georgia you must have a signed model release (signed by both parties.) You just can not go up to someone and start filming w/o their permission (such as what is done to celebs.)

You signed a waiver at the beginning of your employment to be filmed by ktv and other promotional media. whether you remember doing it or not it was part of the intro packet on the very first day paper work before computer training. you should apologize to the guy doing his job and you should be written up.

NEVER SIGN ANYTHING unless you can't help it.
I was written up for discipline only one time while I worked there in 14 months.
I refused to sign it. They just shrugged their shoulders and put it in "my file".
