It is dangerous for us to wear masks while working. Proof.

Yes, and you can get pleurisy without wearing a mask...My dad had it...Of course, he also wore a mask, more like a helmet since he was a welder...

The common flu, pnuemonia and even a pulmonary embolism can cause it, too, and are often some of the main causes...

Basically, too many people are looking for a reason NOT to wear a mask, instead of looking for all the OTHER reasons why they SHOULD wear one...

I'll tell you this...Even when a vaccine becomes available, it may still take a while for the vaccine to get into the hands of everyone...And what about the anti-vaxxers who refuse??? If they refuse and they have COVID, does that mean it'll still be out there and capable of infecting others??? Face it, people...We may not like it, but in all honesty, we are going to be wearing these masks for a long time to come!!! The sooner we get used to it, the better it will be for everyone!!!

So you want us to wear muzzles forever? That is a scary thought. I hope these masks are banned. It makes it easier for criminals to perform activity without being caught.

I only wear mine when I'm in the store and in sight of the customers.  If customers can't see me or if I go outside, the mask comes off.  The ones that get me are the ones that wear them ALL the time, even when they're alone in their car.  I do hope these people end up having problems that can be traced back to wearing face masks for too long.  I'm also hoping that when a vaccine comes out, it causes more harm than good.  They've been pushing this vaccine since day 1 and it's raising a lot of red flags.  They keep brushing aside the fact that this virus only negatively affects a tiny percent of the population.  Now if it were the case where everybody who got the virus got very sick and the hospitalization and death rates were much much higher, then I would be more supportive, but that simply isn't the case.

It ain't over yet, people...And just you wait until it gets colder and flu season starts...I just got my flu shot and I suggest you all do the same! I've had bronchitis and THREE DIFFERENT KINDS OF PNEUMONIA in my life...Lots of respiratory infections, too, as a teenager...I KNOW what it's like (aka NO FUN!) and I'm NOT going there again, if there's any way I can help it!!!

That's your choice.  I for one will never get a flu shot and I certainly won't get a Covid-19 shot.  I'm over 50 years old and I have never had the flu.  Of course I've had colds but they've been basically minor annoyances.

I see that and it raises the question of who is going to infect them? They even have their windows up. As for me, windows down, no mask, enjoying the fresh air. Before anyone says anything, yes I know about the COVID stuff but I'm not paranoid either. The only time I'll wear it is when I'm at the door of wherever I'm going. Soon as I head out the mask comes off.

Im so glad for now they are required. I cant stand going into Krogers and smelling nothing but filthy ass cause these ASSociates dont practice basic hygiene. ASSociates who smell like ass is way worse than catching COVID.

So you think that someone that has a b.o. problem that you can simply walk away from until you don't smell them is worse than getting a virus that you can't walk away from and could kill you. Nice logic there. confuse

Ok, so if you don't want to wear a mast DON'T. But then again, don't complain when you get something from not wearing a mask. If you haven't already figured it out, everything causes something else. OH...how do you get a bacterial infection from yourself? Obviously she would have to come into contact with someone with it and then the mask may have make it worse. Guess what, if this person had COVID the same situation would have happened.

Many studies say Asian counties don't experience the same number of Flu, infection, as western countries, they wear MASKS.

That's great for them. We are Americans. We like our freedom to breathe. We do not want to be told what to do by Kroger or anyone else when it comes to our respiratory rights.

Then start paying hazard pay. A masks isn't going to prevent you from catching covid. There design to keep the infected from spreading their bs pathogens to others.

I can't believe more employees don't hate wearing the masks. All 3 of us that hate it must be in here right now. Then again, most of the employees are just liberal millennial kids, so figures. And they keep acting scared and like we should be scared, as if we Kroger employees haven't already had Covid 8 times already. /eye roll You really think you didn't already have it, working in a store with thousands of customers a day touching everything, and we went the first few months with no masks. Idiots.

Believe me it's more than just 3.  I go in before the store opens and I might see one or maybe two people wearing a mask.  There's the stock crew and all the other departments like produce, deli, bakery, and meat that are setting up for the day.  As soon as the store opens, we all put our masks on, not because we're worried about the virus but because some jackass will throw a fit if they see someone 30 feet away without a mask on

Masks aren't going anywhere. Unfortunately, they will be the new normal for quite a long time. I HATE (and I mean HATE) wearing a mask but I do. I had Verizon come to my home and the employee and I both had to have a mask. I had a gas company person going around checking for gas leaks in the neighborhood and he did not have a mask on (even tough he and I were within six feet of each other). I have a plumber coming out next week and they asked if I wanted him to wear a mask. I said I didn't care. However, they said they said they would require me to wear a mask. Sorry if I have to wear one then so do they. I went to Home Depot and they have very clear signs and a security guard saying masks are required. However, at one point going through store some young employee (with Home Depot apron) was zipping through store on one of their carts with no mask whatsoever. I just feel the anger building and I've just about had enough. If I have to wear a ****ing mask then I'm just going to start standing in front of people everywhere I am at and ask them where is their ****ing mask.

They can't tell you to wear a mask in your own home.  If they insist, find someone else.

Actually, Yes, they can tell you to wear a mask, if not, they will just find a new customer!  Mask are here to stay, if people say their "liberty" is being taken away with being mandated, tell them to get a life and get a real problem......oh...wait...that might be COVID.  While annoying, a mask isn't restrictive and is for your and other protection.  I'm sure in the 70's/80's there were plenty of people saying their were not going to wear a seat belt.  Guess what happened, they got with the program, or had someone just likely them get injury and I bet their wear one now.

Anyone who catches the Covid-19 virus cannot say with any degree of certainty the following two statements:

1.  They caught it because someone wasn't wearing a mask.

2. If the person had been wearing a mask, the other person would have never caught the virus.

You can't compare the use of masks in a hospital where it's a controlled sterile environment and the use of masks in the outside world where people are constantly touching things and then adjusting or taking off their masks.

Ideally, not a single customer would wear a mask.  Not that we could make them.  I wouldn't make them because I wish they wouldn't.  I'd prefer if they wouldn't, really.

Ideally, every single customer would drown in their own bodily fluids.  Sure, some of them are hot, but that's the price of living in a society.  Too hot for me, but they can drown too.  Why does YouTube keep interrupting my videos?  I even capitalized correctly.

I have enough seniority that I get tens of hours a week.  Tens.  Like three tens a lot of the time.

I guess the real question is why should I drown in my own bodily fluids when I can just drown in liquor instead?
