My sister has been working at Kroger in produce for over a year. She is not considered a full time employee. Does she get any kind of health insurance?

I would guess it depends on when she started and how many hours she averaged in the year. Normally, Health Insurance is offered starting Jan 1st, if she averaged enough hours to qualify in the last "52 week look back period" she should be receiving information shortly.  If she averages more then 30 hours a week, she should be offered FT Insurance, if working less then 30 hours she might not be offered and have to wait until her average is more then 30 or PT Insurance might be offered depending on the Union contact.

Unless her department is critically understaffed (a distinct possibility), full time is really only for management.

She may or may not have health insurance.  I suspect she probably does, but that it isn't very good.
