Why do they keep scheduling me early lunches? They ALWAYS do this. I usually work a 10-6:30 or a 10-6 shift. I dont even mind the ½ lunches what gets me is that they  always have me scheduled for lunch at 1pm or 1:30. I think that is stupid, so I just take my lunch from 2:30. Eating lunch 3 hours after I start is too early for me

They never scheduled my lunch. I took mine when I felt like it. I was asked once why I did that I said because I can. They gave me a dirty look I saw them talking to a manager saw him laugh and nothing else was said.

Because that's when the computer that schedules lunches decides when you will go. It doesn't care that you think 3 hours is "too early" for lunch. It schedules you to the projected time it will be busiest. Like 1-1:30 is ideal for lunch and anything after that is too busy. Or even 1:30-2:00 is ideal and anything after 2:00 pm is too busy. It's all decided on projected customer activity and coverage.

Suggestion: take your lunches as assigned  EVEN if you feel that it is "too early." Failure to take your lunches as assigned can make it harder on your co-workers because they have to cover your assignments because you felt a 3 hour lunch was "too early."

Just take them when you want they cannot say anything let the person after you take theirs and the person after them take theirs. I never liked mine early either I rather take them up to an hour before I got off.

Sometimes I would have a 4 hour shift and still take one. None ever said anything I have personal medical reasons I did that my feet would hurt so bad sometimes.

In most departments if you dn't rely on a schedule down to the minute you can take lunches when ever. They keep trying to schedule us 2 hrs in and 6 hrs in and we tell them hell no. That's not even legal.

Being careless about various aspects of scheduling is a way of testing what they can get away with by messing with people.  Like their street thug cousins who will punch you in the face to test how you react.
