Retail is not for everyone. no

I was just at a Kroger deli counter. The young chick there was just shooting hateful attitude from every pore in her body. 'Yea, whatchoo need?!' As she's slamming stuff around prepping my order another customer comes up and she says to a co worker 'F**K this s**t, Ima bout to walk out n go to break.' I said 'YOU SHOULD! AND HOW BOUT DON'T COME BACK! SORRY YOU HAVE TO WORK!'

Funny; she ran out of things to say at that point. No, I didn't report her, I'm no snitch. ---I will call you a bitch to your face, tho. biggrin

Look. I worked retail for 15 years. It does suck, over all. But one thing you never do is be abusive to your customers. If they're abusive to you, well, that changes the script a bit. But that wasn't happening here. Retail is not for everyone, and if you can't stand working with the public, get out or, better yet, don't hire on to begin with.

Most customers are nice.  They don't know what sort of company this is.  The rotten ones love messing with people so if you mess back they will always come back for more, hoping to "win" by making you unhappy, getting you fired or whatever. Be the adult.  The poor souls who are innocently shopping should always get our best, even if they contribute to the success of kroger.  We are in the machine now but kroger will get ______ up in the end.

Work on getting a real job and have a great new year.

If someone is giving me REALLY ****ty service, I try and always call them out on it. After you work retail for year, your focus on customers, but then also forget they are there/always around. "Yea, whatchoo need" depending on my mood/feeling would get a fast response back. Again, it all depends on the environment, but if it all was attitude, I would almost order 1/2 lbs of everything! !! and then tell her I didn't need it after all.

In the case of that puke it'd be a case of good riddance. Just too bad we couldn't know who it was so we could send dead weeds to the visitation biggrin

How can I join Kroger if I have no connections and no appropriate background? What do I need to write in a resume? Or I am hopeless from the start? Please advise.

Kind of hard to say, brother. You will never know what is in the heads of recruiters. But I suppose that unless you write a proper cover letter, they will throw your CV into a waste bin without even looking who it is from. So you might try to contact writemyessays and ask them to edit and format whatever you think necessary to confess.
