I'm on cart duty one mid-morning and everything is going fine. I get to the last cart load. The carts are strapped and ratcheted up for transport. And it's a slightly overfull load. I back it out just enough from the corral to turn it around. I grab a couple of the small carts to take along with the load. I turn around to begin my journey and suddenly an SUV straight across from where I'm at backs out a little too quickly. It slams right up against the load of carts and I'm nearly pasted. The driver gets out and the conversation went like this:

Driver: What'd I hit?

Me (pointing to the carts): This. Are you okay?

Driver (inspecting their car while ignoring what I just said): Well, there's nothing wrong here.

The driver then leaves. Well, gee whiz, they didn't ask if I was okay. So, **** THEM VERY MUCH! I wasn't hurt, just shook up, but at least I had the decency to ask. A customer nearby was loading their car and they saw the whole thing and even they were disgusted by the drivers' selfishness.

People are dicks. I helped push carts during my years at Walmart and we were the victims of the most callous, heinous sht. I was seriously tempted to bring a gun sometimes, it was that bad. no
