STOP WITH THE ANNOYING “LOW LOW LOW LOW” COMMERCIAL !!!

I dont shop at Kroger because Walmart has more, better, and cheaper options for everything.. and I dont have to dive for the mute button every commercial break so I dont have to hear these annoying Kroger commercials, with these overplayed, outdated songs, with the smug looking animated stupid looking cartoon characters. Just stop FFS!!!

What exactly does "lower than low" and "fresher than fresh" mean?  This commercial is "stupider than stupid."

This is exactly the points of commercials, you remember them (hopefully for the good). All grocery stores have the same basic commercial, they have great prices and fresh items, being different it a way to have people remember your brand.

But in the case of Kroger their prices are not low, they are in fact higher than most other grocers and much higher than discounters like Aldi. Much of this price difference is due to their use of high-cost union labor and its inherent political contributions, as well as very high costs for their endless array of commercials. Try another store where your dollar buys more and does not feed a single party political machine!

100% correct!

These commercials are a furtive way for Kroger to imply that they have low prices, when in reality they are usually higher than their competition, because legally these commercials are making no factual claims.

Also the most annoying commercial on television, with zero information value.

I hardly go in Kroger any more. It's less than a mile way but I go 6 miles to the Fresh Thyme. Very decent store. Kroger is nastier than nasty. They say they will make it right. What does that mean. Sure they will refund me if I'm dissatisfied. I have a life and that's what Kroger is counting on. Most people don't bother.

lmao thats really annoying. Also customers are too stupid to properly use their smart phones in such a way.

Notice that nothing is indicated to even imply that the prices are lower than other grocery chains, because they are not and this could be challenged, so the commercials are meaningless as are the ones about "freshness." Purchase the same cart of groceries at ALDI and you will be shocked at the low prices in comparison to Kroger.

The slogans basically reinforce themselves, there should be a new commercial coming out for the Autumn/Fall Season. I'm guessing it will be on "Falling Prices".....and Pickup and or Delivery focused.

It sure is the whole Kroji thing is Stupid. As I said when that commercial came out anyone remember Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer cartoon? The Island of misfit toys? The Kroji's look like the caterers from that show especially Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer & the Island of Misfit Toys (2001)

Here is a Kroji look at the resemblance.     I am not saying they look exactly just very close.

Yes, there is a slight resemblance.  But that Christmas special is a CLASSIC and shouldn't even be mentioned within the same sentence as these ABOMINABLE nasty Kroji characters!!!!  https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0293913/

PS........... I was thinking of the original 1964 Christmas special, not this "sequel" from 2001 with Richard Dreyfuss and some other big names doing the voices.  It's OK but not nearly as good as the first one which is a Classic!!!

The whole points was to make the commercials different and stand out in peoples minds, its def. doing that.

It reminds some of us that the prices at Kroger are actually very high as compared to many competitors. Does running constant ads lead to lower prices?

Agreed. This ad campaign is the worst ever. I cant find the remote fast enough to change the channel when one of these lame ads comes on. And if anything, they actually make want to avoid Kroger.

Yeah, it's definitely standing out in people's minds alright ---  standing out in a bad way.  Just getting noticed doesn't always mean it will be a positive.

One sad thing is that many (if not most) Kroger customers are so absent-minded and nonchalant that they don't pay attention to the Krojis or to the whole stupid promotion campaign and so are ambivalent on the whole subject (and don't know about the literally TENS of MILLIONS of dollars Kroger wasted on this entire publicity campaign). But we employees can hardly get our work done without accidentally looking at those silly things at least several times a day! (I'm referring to the signage all over the store, not the TV commercials).

That is why I record most of the shows I watch on DVR then I can skip commercials. Some are 5 or 6 minutes long. The commercials are longer than the time between one to the next.

Running two ads in one commercial break isn't clever marketing, it is annoying just as your animated characters are. Stop bombarding us!

So at the Fred the temp needs to be adjusted to cool slowly so things can be "fresher than fresh" (no such thing). They have three workers go to the thermostat and one person adjusts it. That's efficient, probably mirrors some of the workers I've encountered.

Why haven't they given Produce Managers the "Banana Manager" name badges. Who is the "Banana Manager" in your store? :)

The asinine commercials are back. When will the Kroger ad executives learn that even Joe Public realizes that Kroger pricing is not really low at all, and that these commercials make Kroger appear foolish. The commercials are ambiguous, and are carefully crafted so as not to state that Kroger prices are lower than their competitors. They are actually completely meaningless, and extremely annoying!

But remember, the same idiots being brainwashed by this campain are the same ones who've spent the last two years (and counting) buying all the covid propaganda.

A person can be smart. PEOPLE are stupid.

You sound like Agent K over there.

Problem is that Walmart and especially Winco are dramatically cheaper while the employee discount is laughable at best.

The one that bugs the hell out of me is that one with animated dancing people.

If someone started dancing like that in a Kroger aisle I would either call the cops or assume that their Parkinsons Disease has reached its final stages.

Are any of the viewers of these commercials really ignorant enough to believe that Kroger prices are even competitive these days? I stopped shopping there years ago because the prices were too high, and I did not appreciate the fact that Kroger's requirement of an ID card of sorts allows them to keep a database of every purchase that you ever make there. Too much "big brother" stuff for me!

Blah blah blah. If it bothers you so much then quit, dont shop there, and lol at you losers still paying for dish, direct and xfinity cable. its your own fault for seeing those commercials.

I visit Fred Myer's pharmacy is the only thing I do there. And I had to post about the most depressing holiday commercial from Kroger, please discontinue it: there is nothing uplifting or happy and cute about the exchange student commercial, all it does is cause misery and depression. The ugly animated cherubs they use for people are weird and strange, they are the only ones to use them in commercials.
