Do you folks that work full-time get health insurance?  Is that an individual thing you're suppose to negotiate on your own?

You can apply for health insurance during open enrollment periods.

60 hrs a month = 20 hrs weekly for single

80 hrs a month = abt 25-28 hrs  weekly for family

A lot of people do this job for the benefits. Full time and part time employees are eligible. You can choose to opt out of insurance if you have another plan you are using instead. Insurance is with kaiser and has two different options (I forget what they are). It's run of the mill health insurance but not bad if you're in a situation with none. You can go to in network dr's for higher coverage or out of network dr's and they'll cover up to a certian percentage contract pending. Open enrollment is generally November and only goes a month or two. There's not much to negotiate with. They'll inform you of the different plan options and you pick what you want and that's it. Kroger deducts about $10 from your paycheck a month for it and it isn't bad. I've been on private plans that run as low as $600 for catastrophic plans to $2,000 a month for a half ass plan that barely covers sh-it. I basically do this job for the health insurance.

 Forgot to add on:

You are eligible for health insurance after a certain number of days with the company. Then you can apply. If you've been with company more than a year you're eligible.
