It is not just you losing your temper.  Take a deep breath and let the small stuff go.  Don't let it get under your skin.

I think covid 19 caused some type of ptsd.  People have been more temperamental recently.

As for being bossed around, that is part of the job, any job.  As for pay, find something better for yourself.

Maybe a career change.  Keep this job until you can move on to better things.

Good luck.

Retail wages have went no where for years, but yet there are higher and higher expectations. With all jobs and pay you have to balance everything, start looking and see what is out there and what you might like. Remember, everyone right now is hiring, don't jump ship until you find something that really fits all your needs. I would say, unless your going to school for some type of Medical degree, a Tech. position doesn't really have anywhere to go.

Life is short.  Always be in pursuit of happiness no matter how crappy things seem to be.

Right now is a good time to be assessing companies and maybe moving on. Many of us just need some time off and a little support from coworkers, like now. You are not alone it only seems like it cause the company is a miniature n Korea.

So you allude to certifications.  That's a great start.

Put in applications everywhere else.  EVERYWHERE.  Yeah, it sucks.  It really really sucks.  Do it, but hound them on how many hours you'll get.  Hours make the paycheck.

For example, our deli can't hold an employee... well... for a lot of reasons.  But for the smart ones, it's because the second they realize they hate seeing a meat slicer but need to pay bills, Walmart will pay them significantly more.

**** 'em.  If you get an interview,  call out and do it.  Worst case scenario, it's ****ing Walmart.

Or Amazon.  ****.  Bezos is a sociopath at best, but that **** might pay the bills for now.

If you can, try to chill out about being bossed around.  You are going to be, no matter what.  Even if you end up owning your own business, you are going to be bossed around by your very own customers.

If those mind gears are clicking, I don't... uh... actually have a rhyme.  Because your life is worth more.

You can operate a device well enough to get here.  You deserve better.  Do better.

If you got big tits put those puppies to work. Big tits usually means big rewards and opportunities!

It's not going to get any better. Find an outlet that let's you stay positive. Live within your means or find a way that you can. Employment isn't strong right now thanks to the government shutting things down in 2019 but right now just take what you can get. Put your resume in at indeed.com and start seeking other places.
