Does Kroger pay for your college tuition (and I don't mean online schools without brick and mortar)?  I mean like schools like Ohio State, etc.

Yes, its call "Feed your Future", the last time they shared the number of Associates that received the benefit it was very low.  I think the only requirement is you have to have been worked for at least 6 months to receive it.  From what I remember, I'm thinking any school qualifies as long as its accredited.  I think they might have an internal agreement with some online school, but "Feed your Future" can be used at "normal" college/universities and also trade school.

Kroger does offer some tuition reimbursement. It's 21k a year. Take it it's free education. That's how I got mine but earlier in life with another company. You're contracted into a specific time contract or you'll face penalties in paying it back. Do 1 day a month to remain "active" employee. or if you need insurance 20 hrs weekly minimum. For single (60 hrs monthly). Family (80 hrs monthly). Doesn't matter how you accumulate it through the month.

It'll go two ways.

Either scheduling is so ****ed you can't get the same days and times off every week.

Or, if you have made the mistake of being a good employee, management will purposefully assrape your schedule to make you fail your classes because they can't afford to have you graduate and leave.  Because **** you.

And if you aren't a good employee, well, **** you especially.  They'll assrape your schedule and then "lose" your paperwork.

Tuition reimbursement actually has a negative value because they won't let you have it.

It's not really a thing.  Don't fall for it.

You're better off getting a real job and then just paying outright.

Curious. Why does the subject line say "Labor Shortage"?
