Forced 6 days due to lack of staff.

I keep telling work no but they keep forcing or trying to force 6 days on me. I can see why my coworkers put two days a week off in the system.

As a department manager, I volunteer for 6 days.  To the best of my knowledge under our contract, they can't force 6 day work weeks.

They can force mandatory 1 hour overtime each shift tho.

If you want 2 days off a week, demand that you get them.

Kroger needs to figure out how to hire good workers and retain them.

Well, if they're going to insist on knowing our vaccination status,  then they're going to lose at least one more.  I said I would quit if the vaccine or test mandate was upheld and this is no different.  Why do they need to know anyway?  Unless they plan on making unvaccinated employees go through weekly testing.  I'm sure as a baker with over 30 years experience, I'll be able to find employment elsewhere.

Good for you, sir. I applaud you. Seriously. We need to stick together and stand up and TAKE BACK all the freedoms we've been steadily losing for these past two years.
