Management has started cracking down on associates who think they're above the rules. (At my location).

Dear fellow associates:

Management has started to crack down on employees who think they're above the rule system and policies of the company. You have been warned. This is at the two stores I float between for hours. you have been warned. Straighten up and fly right unless you want a write up or suspension. they've already cracked down on three people in the past three weeks.

Ha, how long did they not really care, just because the needed workers, funny now they care. When you lower your hiring standards it takes 3x as long to then fix the issue afterwards.

 This is Good to hear! Ive been snitching on several lazy associates for the past month. My efforts manage to get rid of 3 of the 12 Ive been ratting on. Feels good to see the trash get taken out and know I helped. smile

 Does not sound like division 701. Because divisions 701 has an lots of employee thinking they're above policy.

In this current climate, if you have to float between stores to get hours - you are probably a terrible worker.

 If I get caught its cause I wasnt careful or just didnt care to get caught. Unlike you, Most smart people know kroger is a throw away job with no actual position worth any money you make.

 So true. my friend told me he just slacks off half the shift He said for some easy money i should I apply. So I did and actually got hired. Were work pretty much the same hours. Its pretty great hes showing me all the hiding spots to go so cameras cant view you slacking off. Hes also been showing me which areas to just do the bare minimum I so it looks like Im actually working constantmy. Real easy pay for 17 a hour.

I'm one of those that do the work. I'm on the front end, by the way. One day I'm called to the office. They accuse me of taking off without telling anyone. WRONG! I always let someone know be it doing returns, going on breaks, going out for carts, breaking down the supply pallet, or assisting in another department. If Im incapacitated for some reason, for example needing to go to the restroom, if they ask when I get back I answer. Now, am I perfect? No. I do make mistakes but I always try to correct them.

On the day I was accused the "discussion" was held by two FS and a co manager. The FS are rarely out on the sales floor. They are always sitting in the training center for about 90 percent of their shift. On the times I've had to do something where I had to leave the front end I even told them. 

And certain key phrases were spoken. "We have gotten numerous complaints from other employees and customers." Nobody said anything of the sort to me. "We're going to talk to everyone else." Does this include the lazy ones? Because I've yet to see or hear of that. 

As for the two supervisors. I get that they have work to do in the training center. But instead of living in there maybe they should come out when they get a break and really see what happens instead of messing with the wrong people. 

But then again maybe those of us who do the work should wait until Hell freezes over and Satan's making snow cones.
