Store.

Store managers really only respond to division and corporate abuse.

There's a very small number of token "lamb" store managers that are shuffled along for emergency purposes as quickly as the algorithm allows.  The truest psychos are promoted, fast and hard.

The rest are mere sociopaths who get off on abusing everyone below them.  And they do.  Boy, they do.  Holy ****ing ****, I wish they were ambitious enough to go corporate instead.

And they aren't even paid that well.

If they were ambitious, they'd be embezzling and getting off as HOA presidents.

^ nailed it. The reason they don't ladder climb is cuz they're too dumb.

We had a manager who tried and tried to advance, never could, and was the only one to never see the reason for it was he was a bullying, sociopathic control monster. So, after yet another failure, he'd 'kick the dog' and take it out on all the subordinates. Us.

Happy ending, tho. He's now an over night grocery stocker. Tells everyone he 'couldn't take the pressure of management any more' and that he 'stepped down'. Oh bullsht. He was forced down. On the c o c k. Every miserable inch, baaaaayyybeeee.

This is better than if he'd died biggrin
