THANK YOU KROGER FOR BEING OPEN TODAY!

Where I live they closed almost everything down. No, I didn't particularly need anything, but we've been conditioned into being a culture of market place junkies, and it was great having at least ONE place to get my fix. There's a growing number of people with nobody to be with and no where to go on these fking 'holidays', and my hope is that retail sees this huge market that's ripe for exploiting!

Those of you who had to work today and wished you didn't, I do send my sympathies. I worked for Walfart for many years and had to work every single Thanksgiving.

I think stores should be closed a couple days after Thanksgiving. Same for Christmas and maybe New Years and other holidays.

If you ain't got your stuff, then it's not Kroger's fought.

If someone thinks that they need to be at the grocery store every day of the year then they must not have a life and are not educated very well. biggrin

I already do all that. So much more fun tho to go to my closest Kroger and sort through the bananas, breaking up bunches, choosing 2-3 individuals, then placing them back at various spots on the table. The clerk stands there fuming. I love it.

Then I like to go around and ask stupid questions of everyone I see working every aisle of every dept. I can FEEL the death wish energy coming from them, wishing oh-so bad I would drop dead right  there.....but alas, no. They know they must serve my every wish.

Last week I pissed all over the floor right in front of the urinal, then told the cc manager to send someone in to clean it up. I saw the cc dude himself and he was pissed lol.

This is fun! I hope I get some more replies biggrin

So if you don't work there, yet you're on here engaged in stupid flame wars, YOU'RE the uneducated idiot.

And now I am done acknowledging you, because to keep doing so would have me with you sleeping on your sister's couch and make me as pathetic of a LOSER as you. So toodles, you mouth breathing, knuckle dragging man pleaser biggrin

I had to work Thanksgiving. I wrote down on the volunteer sign up sheet a 10-3 OR a 9-2. Ended up being put down for a 9-6. Sonthatbtells me they

A) didnt even look at the sign up
B) didnt even look at the sign up
C) didntbgive a d@mn and didnt look at the sign up

Turns out the "volunteer" sheet is basically just for "show." If our union rep stops by, then they need to see that its up.

Christmas is STRICTLY voluntary. If you want to sign up and work you can. With this said, I'm not signing up. If they "mistankenly" schedule me, then I will "mistakenly" not show up. Not sorry to say this, but that's one holiday I refuse to work.
