Hours cut more than normal.

I know grocery hours go up or down depending upon the time of year and spring time they're generally low. I've been doing this gig almost 20 yrs and I've never seen them this low before. I'm third on our select a schedule and I can only pick about 30 hrs. We have 8 registers but only 1/2 of one is open and that's only during prime time hours. Rest of the day = sco or request a cashier. I really wish if company wants to rid the human element to just update the equipment to do it.

No wonder customers are getting incredibly pissy about going through sco all the time. Having closed side departments more frequently, having increased waits or finding understocked shelves. Kroger: You get what you pay for.

Everyone got that? Help kroger out. You can do a lot better. Help them cut costs. Maybe don't shop there, too.

I help cut cost by stealing as much sh-it as I can.

COVID taught corporations that customers will buy whatever is on the shelf, regardless of how many bones the skeleton crew has left.

But it sounds more to me like you aren't even considering the needs of the shareholders.
