A couple questions concerning clicklist/picklist
Permalink

1. I work clicklist/picklist and ALMOST ALL the time it rings when I am doing a pick (the store cell phone). Answering it slows me down, and that's NOT going to happen if I can help it. We fill out small paper/cards that thank the customer for shopping with us and you have to give the contact number. I ALWAYS put the store's phone number rather than the cellphone number. Why do customers STILL call the cellphone, EVEN THOUGH the store number (different than the cell number) is written down?

2. At the end if the order when we fill out the card that thanks the customer, I ALWAYS say Kroger Team.

Do I have to put my name down as the picker? If so why?

1. Answer: Because they want the SHOPPER (that's YOU) to take ownership of the order they are working on. Why have someone else answer a pickup question when it is YOU that worked on it. Plus sometimes CS booth is closed down early so they have to call the store cell phone.

I can tell you it pisses people off when No one answers the cs booth, and it pisses them off even more when no one answers the store cell phone.

I have gotten pick up from Wal-Mart, other Krogers when I didn't want to wait in insane lines. And if I need to call I call the cellphone. If no one answers I go inside the store to see what is up. If it's super crazy busy, I let it go. If it's not busy, then I want to know why the phone was not answered.

2. Is your name Kroger team/assiciate xxx? No? Then why put down that name? Customers want to know who picked their order. It's for recognition purposes if they did a good job, and if corrective action is needed, the right person gets it. Plus it's easy to find who picked the order on the computer.

By putting down the correct name, it forces the shopper to be accountable for the order they picked.

There's not a store cell-phone.

Please troll harder.

I'm not asking much.
