You dont need to show ID to these associates. They are using this as a excuse to commit identify theft and steal info.

The **** do we even care about your stupid ID?  You really think we even have time to write down what we saw while serving 50 customers a day?  Or even remembering the right info after a glance?   You dont want to show ID to us then dont shop at our stores.  or just dont buy products that need IDs.

You forgot your ID or its expired?  Tough ****, take it up with corporate.

If you dont care then stop crying like a little bitch about it. And ours? You dont own store or stock from Kroger youre just another trained pleb doing work a monkey could do better. I dont have to take it up with no one. Ill get what I need and want period! You dont like it? Then go make tacos at Taco Bell.

Didn't think my post would go viral. Good to see I'm not the once upon a time cashier being still pissed about this. You people can b*t*ch up a storm if you want but you know I'm right.

Exactly!!!! I for one will NOT loose my job because A customer has a baby fit because they have to show their ID. Deal with it. I once told a customer who kept badgering me to let him slip "just this one time." I politely refused each time and even politely said "I will not loose my job because I failed to see ID."

That statement for some reason cut off the guy's air supply because he turned a shade of 'EXTREMELY passed off red.'

You guys remember when old time Wrestler Rick Flair would turn red when he yelled when riled up after a match? That's the color that was on the customer's face. He screamed that he was going to calm corporate to get me fired. He demanded my name and I told him my name was Youdunna Needtono.

He was so mad that he didn't realize I had my name badge on.

The word you want is lose.  Loose is an adjective.  Then of course there's loss, which is a noun.

I'm so glad I don't cashier any more so I don't have to deal with this bull sh--it. Most customers in my area have adjusted to it by now but you still get that 5% of people who will just fight anything that has governmental authority at them.

In the Local 1996 area (Atlanta GA) we must ask for ID for alcohol purchases. We can take verbal for tobacco
