The store manager wanted to know if we could bake extra bread this week for ANOTHER STORE. NO! How would that even work anyway? You'd have to transfer both the cost of the product and the labor to the other store. You can't have one store paying an employee to make a product and then have another store get the sales credit for that product. It would really mess your ELMS hours. You could transfer the retail cost of the bread to the other store but then that store wouldn't make any money off it. In fact, they would lose money if it didn't all sell at full price. The worst part is the store in question is all the way across town. There's probably a dozen or more Kroger stores that are closer. Where I live there's a Kroger about every 2 or 3 miles apart. I'm really curious as to why that other store can't bake its own bread.
