Please vote to strike on your contracts.

Please vote to strike on your upcoming contracts. We have lost repeated rights time and time again over the past few contracts. New hires get 2.5 less rights as those that were hired in before 2009. Ask your self these questions if striking is worth it:

How long can you continue to live pay check to pay check? Even if you're to the point of daily pay or you're screwed?

How many room mates do you have to reside with before you can even afford a place to live? Even then the living situation isn't that great.

Is your vehicle reliable and can get you to work routinely or does it constantly break down and you lack the funds to fix it. How old is it?

Do you like earning minimum wage when other unions offer better wages and we're still 20% above other jobs when we should be 30-40% above other local jobs.

Do you enjoy 10+ day work weeks and 100+ hrs in a row? Do you like being exploited to exhaustion or do you enjoy getting open/close shifts.

Do you enjoy living in a high rent situation where you're 3 paychecks from disaster? Knowing the union is not keeping up with cost of living increases?

Do you enjoy seeing your vacant positions being filled with utility clerks knowing company is not serious about finding long term staff in those positions.

Do you enjoy your quality of life with this line of work? Ranging from mental awareness, to quality of life...

Do you enjoy being exhausted all the time because work is repeatedly cutting staffing hours and making customers more difficult to deal with.

These are all things you have to ask you self if it is wroth it to strike or not. Most of you people fall poverty line or qualify for gov assistance. Have the balls to stand up and strike even if you are financially tight for the month and have to pick up part time work to fill the void.

Most of the people at these jobs are lazy, retarded or stupid. There are only a select few who would work to push for a change but its enough to make a difference . Best thing to do is look elsewhere for a much better place to work.

I've done a little shopping at Aldi lately.  Violent prices over there.  Shots fired.

Looked at the website.  Accidentally clicked on "Careers".

Their part time pay starts at our cap.  Except, there's full time openings too.

Kroger owned stores try to beat down the union into accepting slavery. The only one who can help you is you. Maybe get the he11 out of there.
